Welcome to MagicProctor.
MagicProctor (“MagicProctor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a brand owned and operated by Peppyex (OPC) Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013.
By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website or Services.
- About MagicProctor
MagicProctor provides hardware-assisted remote proctoring for interviews, helping employers ensure authenticity during remote hiring.
Our Basic Package includes a head-mounted camera shipped to the candidate for recording a true point-of-view (POV) during interviews.
- Eligibility
We reserve the right to qualify, accept, or decline any company or order request at our sole discretion.
- Pricing & GST
- All prices are quoted in INR and exclusive of 18% GST, unless otherwise specified.
- GST will be charged on all invoices.
- Clients may claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) as per law.
- MagicProctor may revise pricing or offers without prior notice, though confirmed paid bookings will always be honored.
- Launch Offers
- ₹1 Hiring Sprint Offer
- Offer: Conduct your first hiring sprint with MagicProctor for ₹1 only.
- Eligibility: Limited to qualified businesses, selected at MagicProctor’s discretion based on fit, hiring volume, and use-case relevance.
- Allocation:
- Default: 1 interview per company.
- For enterprise accounts (e.g., 200+ employees or 5+ openings), MagicProctor may grant up to 10 interviews under this ₹1 offer.
- Charges: ₹1 + ₹0.18 GST (symbolic); no shipping fees apply.
- Booking window: Must be scheduled within 30 days of approval.
- Non-transferable: 1 allocation per legal entity; cannot be sold or reused.
- Cancellation: No-show (<24h) may forfeit the slot.
- Purpose: Introductory trial for legitimate hiring teams to experience POV-based deterrence technology.
(This offer is promotional and may be withdrawn or modified prospectively.)
- Founding Partner Plan
- Offer: Lock in your Basic Package rate for 12 months.
- Spots: Limited to 3 clients only.
- Benefits: Price lock, priority onboarding, and partner recognition.
- Annual usage cap: 1,000 sessions at the locked rate; beyond that, normal rates apply.
- Renewal: After 12 months, renewal at CPI + 3% or the prevailing standard rate, whichever is lower.
- Eligibility: Qualified clients who complete one successful pilot.
- Shipping & Returns
- Standard Shipping (forward + reverse) is included in all paid plans.
- For the ₹1 offer, shipping is completely free (MagicProctor bears the full cost).
- Devices remain the property of MagicProctor.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring safe handling and timely return after use.
- Unreturned or damaged devices may incur recovery or replacement fees (communicated in advance).
- Data, Privacy & Candidate Consent
- The customer (employer) is responsible for obtaining informed consent from each candidate.

- SLAs & Support
- Service levels, turnaround times, and refund clauses vary per client and are defined in individual commercial agreements (PO / MSA).
- MagicProctor will always aim for timely delivery and reliable support but actual commitments depend on the signed commercial terms.
- Cancellations & Refunds
- Confirmed bookings cancelled ≥24h before session may be rescheduled without charge.
- Cancellations <24h or post-shipment may count as used.
- Refunds for deposits (if applicable) are processed within 7–10 business days after device return.
- Liability & Warranties
- Services are provided on a best-effort basis.
- MagicProctor is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., loss of opportunity or reputation).
- Our total liability in any claim will not exceed the fees paid in the 3 months preceding the issue.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
- Updates
MagicProctor may modify these Terms at any time. Updates take effect once posted here. Continued use of our website or Services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
